Perran Bay Hotel

Hi can anyone help please. A relative of mine died 1974 Thomas Arnold Knight Simpson. The place of his death Perran Bay Hotel Perranzabuloe Cornwall.Does anyone have any history about this hotel. Any help appreciated.

Was it definitely Perran Bay Hotel, in Perranzabuloe, as this care home has been open for 50 years, in Perranporth:

Just read the probate, where it does say as you have stated.
But Perran Bay Home is still worth considering.

Hi Victoria

The only thing that I can find is a mention of the PERRAN BAY HOTEL in a 1939 Kelly's directory in PERRANPORTH, Perranzabuloe. The proprietor at this time was a Constantine House. It looks like maybe the nursing home could have been the hotel at some point.

Hi If nursing home was opened 50 years ago ( ? 1965 ) was it named as a nursing home My relative died 1974 ?? would it have been called Perran Bay Hotel. ??

Maybe the residents of hotel ??? did not like residence being called nursing home ??

The friends of the museum have a telephone number, and ask for an email address on their application form, so someone uses email.

Or you can write a letter.

Did you get the death information just from probate, or have you also got  a death certificate to confirm the address?
