John Purcell 1782 Kilcommon??

Hi, not sure if I am on the right board but here goes, the above was born in Kilcommon , Record states Mayo ? Is it possible to get any info on the above at all ? parents, his birth .
By 1799 he was in Great Yarmouth & marrying his first spouse Priscilla Page.

Anything at all would be good regarding parents or place of birth/ background in the 1780`s

   The Griffiths Valuation of 1857 mentions two Purcells in Kilcommon, Co. Mayo, Robert and George. See http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/

I haven't read all if this but wonder where the information re Kilcommon, Mayo comes from?

Hi Heywood, yes we are after the same person, struggling to find his parents, or anything about him . His birth place is from his enlistment papers, and also from the research (extensive may I say) done by others.
