Hi again, this birth certificate depicts an 1838 year of birth for the 2nd Elizabeth, also how do you know he married an Elizabeth Jones c 1851 or has his first marriage yet to be located/obtained?

The reason being, Thomas married twice. The birth cert is accurate as it is my 2nd great grandmother Elizabeth Owens, I think the other Elizabeth (Jones) was his first marriage, from what we can make out from the info we have as a family Elizabeth (Jones) died giving birth. We know nothing about Elizabeth (Jones).

OK understand that. so Thomas married an Elizabeth c 1851, their appear to be missing pages from the 1861 for Llandegai so the birth place of the first Elizabeth how was that derived if she died prior to 1871, and 1851 depicts only Carnarvon?

Have you therefore attempted to order the marriage of a Thomas to an Elizabeth c 1850 Llandegai, also Ffrwdgaled could be from the district/area Elizabeth was living, and not necessarily her place of birth.
The thing I still need confirmation of, is that the 1841/51 families are in your opinion the correct ones?!

PS the brother John b c 1830 looks to be next door to Thomas/Elizabeth and family in 1871
