Looking for any other children for this family.

I've found this Baptismal Entry for Harriet Wilson, Parents William and Alice Wilson. William Wilson is a Stone Mason. I'm trying to ascertain if they have any other children, - in particular if they have a son named William or William James Wilson.

It was a bit of a long shot... I've never been able to find a Birth or Baptismal Entry for my Grandfather, William James Wilson, apparantly Born Manchester , 1860/'61. On his Marriage Cert, (in Swansea in 1893) he gives his Father as 'William Wilson (Deceased) Occupation: Mason'.

I was just trawling through the Manchester Birth and Baptismal Records again, & spotted that Harriet's Father was a 'William Wilson, Occupation: Mason' and so thought it was worth a look:-(

There's a gap between 1858 and 1861, - that's what made me wonder if William James Wilson might have possibly fitted in there?

I know from looking at one of my Dyer branches in Sussex, that if a Birth was in a different Parish, or the Baptism was at a different Church...then it can be difficult to locate. (The problem with the area around East Grinstead is that boundaries changed between Surrey and Sussex over time).

I'm not familiar with Manchester or Prestwich, - (I'm in Hertfordshire) but I would think that a Stone Mason would have had to travel around? And if so, a Birth might have been recorded where he was working?

I have a feeling that I may have previously looked at that family, - but I will print it all off and go through my Wilson notes. (I've been trying to find a Birth or Baptismal Entry for my Grandfather William James Wilson since the late 1970's... and so it's quite a big file!:-)
