Hi

Please can anyone help with the baptism and parents of Richard Plumbe and Ann Nailor / Naylor

Richard Plumbe married Ann Nailor /Naylor on  28 July 1747 St Elphin, Warrington, Lancashire, England. to date I have 3 children attached to this marriage ( There could well be more )

richard Plumbe was an Apothecary and surgeon by trade .

Richard Plumbe died 1774 in Aughton, Lancashire, England
Ann Plumbe ne nailor died  1778 Aughton, Lancashire, England

both buried at St Michael, Aughton, Lancashire, England

Children to date are as follows

Elizabeth born 1754 and  died 1754
Ann born 1756 died 1828
Henry born 1759 died 1833

Any help or advice much appreciated .

They were apparently both of Prescot when they married at Warrington so I would suggest looking at all the churches within the Prescot Parish. The other thing you could use as a clue is that their children were christened at the Presbyterian Chapel in Ormskirk which was apparently Fogg's Chapel. I would look at Non Conformist chapels in the Prescot Parish as well.

Are their other Plumbe people in the Aughton or Prescot area who may be connected?

On the Lancashire Wills Database there is listed a Thomas Plumbe surgeon Warringtonwho someone applied to administer their estate in 1768. It would be interesting to see who applied.

Many thanks for the information, it will be interesting to read the details of the Will, and administration. also I will try to find their graves there may just be a clue of when they were born that may help narrow the field as to when they were born .
