help re Mary GAY
« on: Wednesday 06 May 15 09:58 BST (UK) »
Hi Everyone,
Hope this is the correct way to start.
Get distracted with so many interesting posts.
Looking for birth/baptism of Mary Gay.  Her parents were Richard Gay
& Dinah Sampson who lived in Bideford, Devon, England.
Not able to find info anywhere.  Failing birth/baptism, @ 1834 ish,  has anyone
identified her in 1851 census?  Thanks,  ABSOT

Thank you miriamkinga and Pennines for your 1851 c & 1841 c replies.
The 1841 c is definitely her family & the 1851 c is the most probable entry
before she set off for Australia in 1852.   Many thanks, ABSOT
