Caroline Driver

Hi!
    Can anyone help with the following?

I have a Caroline Neal born in 1870 at Gateshead, daughter of Joseph Adam Neal and his wife Mary Ann Lunn.

Caroline Neal married a Thomas Driver in 1897 at Hartlepool, and died in 1909 at Hartlepool. I believe Thomas and Caroline had three children what I know of:

Joseph Driver born 1898 Hartlepool, died 1899 Hartlepool

Rebecca Driver born 1899 Hartlepool, died 1904 Hartlepool

Caroline Driver born 1900 Hartlepool

Cannot find Rebecca Driver (born 1899) on the 1901 Census, nor can I find any information on Caroline Driver born 1900?

Any help with any of the above much appreciated!

There is a Caroline Driver b West Hartlepool age 1 granddaughter with Joseph A Neal age 56

Also a death registration for a Rebecca Driver b 1899 died 1904 age 5 Hartlepool
Wonder if this is the same person ?

please be aware that prior to amalgamation in 1967 the towns of hartlepool and west hartlepool were separate entities.

the marriage at st paul's church, west hartlepool, on 11 may 1897.

thomas driver, aged 25, and a labourer.
son of joseph (deceased).
address: furness street, west hartlepool.

caroline neal, aged 26, and a spinster.
daughter of joseph neal, a storekeeper.
address: carr street, west hartlepool.

on "tees valley indexes" only two births appear for rebecca and joseph driver.

i cannot locate any driver baptisms for the two local churches for parish area - st paul's and st oswald's (both c of e).

rebecca was buried on 12 may in north cemetery, west hartlepool. her address on burial record is the workhouse. her mother was buried 24 april 1909 in same cemetery. her address is cromwell street, west hartlepool. joseph, aged 16 months, buried in same cemetery, 21 july. address given as workhouse.

Durham Records Online has a small selection of Driver names in (British West) Hartlepool including the marriages of George (1870) and Thomas Driver (1897). There is one baptism only which is that of a Joseph Driver born abt. 1898 and baptized abt 1899 "Hartlepool Union". All my Driver names are from Suffolk and I have not researched them out of Suffolk. The indexes are free - you just pay for a transcription of the actual document.
