Looking for any information on the following;(Parent's,Children,Where to look etc etc)
George John THORNHILL married Ester Annabelle Flora McIVOR 10 April 1877 in Invercargill. Their Children were Alfred William,Ivy Florance and Ester Annabelle.
I believe Alfred William THORNHILL Married Annie Elizabeth MALLERSTATT
Axel Leopol MALLERSTATT married Annie Louisa ATTWOOD. Their Children were Annie Elizabeth and Violet.
One of the Males was a Whaler at Fort Rose but do not know Who?
Any Help much appreciated

A George John THORNHILL appears on the Otago Nominal Index to 1876 at Center Hill Station over several years.

I think you must mean Fortrose (one word) in Southland NZ, so I suggest you try Southland Museum to see what resources they might have;

So far all i have found is a submitted entry on IGI for Esther Annabelle Flora McIvor b abt 1862 Nelson,Nelson, NZ
Where would i find intention to marry notices for these pepole?
The name Mallerstatt brings up no matches on any site. IGI has his marriage to Annie Attwood, again submitted.
Can Anyone help please??

Alfred William THORNHILL m. Annie Elizabeth MALLERSTATT in 1925.

Axel Leopol MALLERSTATT m. Annie Louisa ATTWOOD in 1893, and the 1893 Electoral Roll lists a Annie Louisa MALLERSTATT in the Mataura Electorate residing at Fortrose, occupation Domestic Duties.

Your Violet MALLERSTATT married a Albert Thomas MOIR in 1927.

If you can get dates and places of marriage I can check the ITM notices for these marriages for you.

Axel Mallerstatt  m Annie Attwood 1893 Invercargill ( married before Electoral Roll came out)
George Thornhill m Esther McIvor 10 April 1877 Invercargill
Alfred Thornhill m Annie Mallerstatt 1925 Invercargill
Alfred and Annie's eldest child Alma Annie Thornhill was born 14 Jul 1926 in Invercargill
ALMA was my husband's birth mother, he found her 3 day's before she died. Too late to get any info. We have her death cert giving her parent's as Alfred William Thornhill and Annie Elizabeth Mallerstatt. With Mallerstatt being an unusual name i thought it would be easy to track, but no suck luck. Many Thanks for all your help.
