Decifering Civil Death Notices

Hi everyone, I am hoping there will be someone who can help me out in deciphering some Cape civil death notices:

With this first one, I am trying to confirm that the place of residence is Forrester Street? Most importantly though, I cannot make out the cause of death, the first word is gastro, but the other two words evade me.

I am to determine the cause of death in this on, to me it looks like chronic intestinal K? Hernia, the third word I cannot make out.
