Came across this school this morning which has boys from various counties sent there.
There are quite a few from Dublin,some of the boy's seem to have been sent from orphanages in Dublin and elsewhere.
Their ages are very accurate between 9 and 11 years old ,if you subtract their age from their date of admittance which is written under their names you can cross reference it with the civil index on Family Search.
Some comments are also written after their names i e went to Canada,Australia etc.
Covers the period 1787 till 1933 most who where born during the period between 1895 and 1911 can be found on the censuses others i have found on the 1939 to 1964 register of electors.
Some names are mistranscribed i came across two boys admitted in 1929 as Seymour
and Leonard Toulton checking the civil register their name is Totten twins born in Monaghan in 1919.
