Where Am ? No. 30 - Possibly somewhere in India - a tall order.

I'm curious about the two photographers, there's the one in the photo with the large plate camera and then the one who has taken the photo, possibly with something more modern (relatively speaking) and handheld. What are the dimensions of this photo? Were there two plate cameras? If there were does that make the occassion grander?

The photo is approximately postcard size but on the same wafer thin paper that all the Clifton Browns photos are printed.

My only comment on the Number 5 is. That's strange. Why 5?

I agree..bizarre.

I think it's a hotel.  Each room on the top floor appears to have a chair outside where you'd sit, smoke your pipe and discuss the days events with the people in the room beside you!
