Isaac and Sybell Brewster
« on: Tuesday 26 May 15 02:32 BST (UK) »
I have found quite a lot on Isaac Brewster, including a fascinating will where he listed his wife and children.  He mentions his wife Sybell in it, but also says that he is leaving the business of running his farm to his son Charles for his wife "as he properly behaves himself towards her".  I'm wondering if perhaps she is not his mother?  Or maybe they just had some fallings out.  I can't find any marriage records for Isaac at all, either for Sybell or anyone else, and no records for Sybell from before 1841 so I'm not sure of her maiden name.  For the oldest child I did find a birth record that says the mother was "Elizabeth" so perhaps this was a second marriage, in which case I need to figure out which children she had.

This is the info I do have:
