Both worked as Nurses in the Scottish Womens Hospitals during ww1, served in France and Serbia, at the same time so must have been sisters. I found details of them living a 6 Howe st Edinburgh.  Sorry but thats all i got. Any info on them will be great.

Hi,

Rosalie Carter was a retired hospital nurse when she died in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary in 1955

she was aged 92 and the daughter of Henry and Emma .

Her brother David of the same address 11, Eildon Street Edinburgh registered her death

Hope this helps.

Hi again,
Looks like she was born in Grantchester  England  9 July 1865

Found the family on 1871 census in England but no sign of Katie or David.

Sorry no more time at present have to go out.
