IPSWICH marriage c 1799 COMPLETED

A fellow researcher sent me some notes some years ago with some basic details:

Edmund Scrutton married Elizabeth Took in Ipswich around 1799.

Can anyone confirm this with some more detail? My local family history society does hold some Suffolk Marriage Index books.....but not the ones covering Ipswich. :(

Hi Nanny Jan,

They were married 30-1-1799 Ipswich St.Nicholas as per the Suffolk FHS marriage CD  for the Ipswich Deanery (as Edward Scrutton & Elizabeth Tooke).

He is the only "Scrutton" on the Cd  for the Ipswich Deanery
