This is his WWI draft registration card, listing his occupation as jockey - https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1951-25101-46689-61?cc=1968530

There are many passport applications available for him at https://familysearch.org/search/collection/2185145

If you type Frank O'Neill into a search engine you will get lots of hits.

Why not give us some details on your grandfather James Joseph O'Neill to see if we can find anything?

It looks like Frank's wife was Mary McCafferty:  https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1961-39693-20600-12?cc=2185145

I think this is a birth of their daughter - https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:2WC1-ZF1

This passport application lists Frank's 3 children - https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1942-39436-8404-39?cc=2185145  It says Frank's father John was born Patch Grove, Wisconsin and, as of 1921, was a farmer living at Hematite, Missouri.  That is the same town given on  Frank's WWI draft registration card.

Hi Ericdesmond, I am researching my family tree on the grandmother side which her maiden name is O'Neill. Her name is Kathleen M O'Neill and married Eric Crowder. She have 4 other siblings which are James J O'Neill, Joyce I O'Neill, Peggy B O'Neill and Thomas F P O'Neill (died as a baby). Her parents was James J O'Neill (or John J O'Neill, different names on death and marriage certificate) and Ada Louisa Rayner. I am trying to find out more about them and it seems you are looking at the same people. My dad told me that he had a brother called Frank and he was a jockey and father was James Joseph O'Neill but I can't trace than back. I just want to know if you gone back further in the O'Neill side and if we are looking at the same person.

Like to hear you soon
