Looking for Catherine and Elias Smith

Catherine Dixon born 1839 in Penallt married Elias Smith 1864 in Pontypool - no trace since marriage - any help would be  much appreciated  - thanks for an help

Where and when was Elias born, do you have him on census prior to his marriage

Hi and thanks for your reply - I have no info about Elias Smith other than marriage certificate - he is listed as shoemaker and father was John, also shoemaker -  also not found them in any census

I have seen the marriage now - his occupation looks like Shop keeper  :-\.   I still can't see them after their marriage.

why I said shoemaker - not sure - but thanks for you help and reply
