S S Drottingholm, 1946
« on: Tuesday 23 June 15 15:18 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to find where and when the SS Drottingholm docked in July 1946, I suspect it was either Halifax or St John's, Newfoundland. I have a menu which is dated the 17th of July 1946, so it would be some time after that. If possibly I would like to see a passenger list for that voyage, any clues would be welcome.

List of Cabin Class Passengers

Svenska Amerika Linien - Swedish American Line

S.S. Drottningholm

There were parts of the site you can "open up" but the cabin class passengers are published on the site with nothing to "open up".

However I did enter one of the passengers -  Elsie Dewidels, a single lady from Prague on ancestry.com and she has full information including the original passenger manifest on ancestry.com  They are a proprietary site so I cannot give you the information but the people on the site on that ship are fully recorded by the Swedish Government and by the Americans on the ship's manifest entering the US and are on on ancestry.
