« on: Wednesday 24 June 15 13:18 BST (UK) »
The PAUL family, John, Catherine (McCaughey), (*) and (*) emigrated to Canada in 1948 from Motherwell,Lanarkshire,Scotland.
Three more children were born in Canada in 1950s, (*)

To receive contact from them, or their descendants, would be wonderful.

Thanks!

Tecumseh Township is no where near Toronto.  Down in the far southwestern corner of the province near Windsor.

The Canadian Voters' List in 1962 show a John, an electrician, and Catherine Paul, a teacher living in Tecumseh.

Thanks for your replies, much appreciated!

The reference to "Tecumseh" was vague, so thanks for clearing that up for me.

You could try the telephone white pages for Windsor or Tecumseh at this link. There are several Paul hits with contact info. A quick letter or call may turn up a rellie.

ADDED: looks like Catherine is buried here. You might be able to find an obit through local newspapers.

Suspect the other son J shows on the 1957 Canada Voters List at 1149 Marentette Avenue - a chrylser worker with a wife and also a Mrs Sophia Thomas - Widow (could be his mother-in-law)
Al 3 show together at the same address in 1962 - the wife has the initial M
All 3 are together again in 1963 - J is still a chrylser emp  - M is a waitress and Mrs Sophie Thomas (widow)
Canada Voters List 1972 shows J (labourer) and M Paul at Glenwood Avenue. Windsor West.
Canada Voters List 1974 - shows Mrs Sophie Thomas (widow) still at 1149 Marentette Avenue -
