Hi, it appears Percy may have been a child from a previous relationship. I have found 6 siblings all born Alnwick, Northumberland. One child carries the Austin name. Thomas Austin Wood b Sep qtr 1903. Could be a clue or a coincidence! Regards Trish

If Thomas Austin is part of the same family, his birth certificate would give mother's surname.
