hi kay, no unfortunately the wrong mary...........I am trying to find mary ann colligan born 1844 Ireland, Helen colligan abt 1840 ish and Margaret colligan abt 1847...........their father is definatly William colligan,  their mother agnes or ann, last name sometimes written as hall or hale.   I pick the family up in the 1851 census in Scotland, with these girls older sister born 1835 and brothers born later........but mary ann, Helen and Margaret are missing in that census and in all later census.   a real mystery,    I think, but not sure, Margaret was christened at st margarets in airdire,  think Helen had an illigetimate baby names john in 1858 in shotts,   but just not sure as yet.............I will keep a searching, something is bound to turn up somewhere, with a wee bit of luck

hugs from heather

How do you know about the 3 girls if you haven't found them on any census?

What are the family transcribed as in 1851 as I can't find the family at all.

Heather, how do you view images on SP? I think the simplest viewer is Direct Download

If you click on the tab 'My details' www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/users/details.aspx and look towards the bottom of the screen you will see 'Image Viewer'. Check the options and what you have set up. Direct Download as view option seem the most easy and uncomplicated viewing option.

Anything else, we likely need more to try to help. You may need to also email or speak to SP for assistance.
