Lookup marriage Lawrence Branson and Ada Layton Western Australia

I am searching for further information on Lawrence Joseph Branson (born 1888) and marriage to Ada Rose Layton born about 1896. I think the marriage would have taken place in Western Australia but I cannot find any records.  There also no records of Ada's birth in Australia. 
Any help would be appreciated.

I think your thread would catch the eyes of some of the RChatters with experience of Australian searchings if it was on the Australian board (Currently on the Census Lookups .... Lubrary and FHS Lookups)

Have you previously searched there?   I will ask a moderator to move the thread across to the Australia board.

In the meantime,  do you have some general throughts as to the likely year that Lawrence and Ada married?

Here's his AIF service record from WWI, showing Ada Rose as his wife, and his name as Lawrence Joseph.   His date of birth given there as 6 Nov 1888, and born Midland Junction Western Australia....   He enlisted Sept 1914, so the marriage is prior to then.

I see other births, same parents, so perhaps Jane’s middle name was Elizabeth.

There is a tree on ancestry that has him born
Smiths Mill, Western Australia 1888 and married to an Ada Rose Shuttleworth in 1914 Then a marriage to a Lucy Eveline Dickens also in England in 1916.
There are photos and letters re medals.
Then they have this marriage also in 1914, so did she leave Joseph Layton for Lawrence or just misinformation on this particular tree.

married 31 May 1914
St Andrew, Barnsbury Islington
Father - Alfred Shuttleworth
Spouse father - Joseph Henry Layton

But it all looks very messy and I am trying to sort it out.

No I haven't tried the Australian side, so that would be great to have it moved. Thank you.

As you note,he states he was married when he enlisted in 1914.  I did have an approx date of 1916 but obviously wrong.

Thank you crisane for being so quick and checking out the information for me.  I do not belong to Ancestry so appreciate you following up for me.  Yes a bit of a mystery re the marriage dates.

I wonder if Ada Rose BRANSON died while Lawrence was On Active Service, and he re-married?

On Lawrence's service record Ada Rose is named as his wife living at Marian Street Midland Junction WA. The papers are dated 4 September 1914
There is also a letter from the Dept of Defence dated 14 April 1916 to Mrs A R Branson at 218 Williamson Street Perth advising her that Lawrence will be arriving in Melbourne at the beginning of May 1916.
So Ada Rose Branson is in WA in Sept.1914 but there is this birth of a Layton child mmn Shuttleworth in London in 1914.
