George Fox Marriage

Hi All,
    I am trying to find out the details of a marriage between George Fox and Jane Rogers in 2nd QTR 1851. I am after the details of George's father. I just wondered in the Parish records still recorded these events in 1851, or do I have to order the certificate.

The only Fox/Rogers marriage on FreeBMD in 1851 is in Q3 Witney Oxfordshire.  That marriage is on a public tree on Ancestry (22 Sep 1851) giving the names of the witnesses which might suggest the tree owner has seen other evidence of the marriage.  His father is given as John Fox 1810-1874.  You might want to contact the owner?

22 Sept 1851 at St Marys Church, Church Green, Witney after banns.

George FOX fa, bach, Lab of Curbridge s o John Lab
