Hi,Do you know what parish they were living in when they were in Wolverhampton?I had a quick look, but hadnt got time to wade through all the Jones,.There are loads of records at the archives which arent on line.At least a burial would give you something to go on.Glen
Hi Glen they were living in Wednesfield Rd Wolverhampton it looks like Adam Mansell was living next door

Hi
According to this the Burial Records are Staffordshire Records Office

The register of St Thomas commences in 1751. The original registers for the period 1751-1974 (Bapts), 1849-1986 (Mar) & 1751-1967 (Bur) are deposited at Staffordshire Record Office.

I have found the census now,it says parish of Wolverhampton, its at the top of Wednesfield by Littles Lane, which has moved a bit because of the ring road! So,what i will do is ask the people on the desk on Tuesday where to look, she must be buried somewhere, unless she was sent somewhere else.I found out my grandmother who came from Bristol was brought up in Scotland by her uncle.I dont know why she was the chosen one, unless she was a weak child.Due to government cuts, the archives wont be open after today until Tuesday.

Wonder whether you need to consider somewhere close by like willenhall? There are some indexes on the Wolverhampton indexes for willenhall.

Hi,I have been to the archives today, asked at the desk and was told the only parish to look would be St.Peters.I looked through the years 1838-1841,even though they are on line,in case Priscilla had been missed off the list. She just wasnt there, but i did find an Elizabeth Jones, infant,Wednesfield Heath .October 10 1841.Glenys
