So,

on the same street ie Charles Street, in 1901, is a Patrick Shannon, birthplace Tipperary.

1899 there is a 1 Year Old Thomas Shannon buried in Glasnevin.

Address 8 Charles Street ~ match to the 1901 Census.

This is the nearest that I am getting to a John born to a Thomas in Tipperary

BUT

The surname is down as Shanahan  ???

Patrick Shannon also has a son buried in Glasnevin.

Michael Shannon Born 1896 Died 1901.

Address 29 Charles Street ~ Same address as the 1901 Census !

John Shannon had a daughter called Sarah Shannon whom is buried in Glasnevin.

Born 1902 Died 1904.

Address 12 Coombe ~ match to 1911 Census.

1914 Mary Shannon's address was 12 Coombe when she was taken into the workhouse hospital.
