Hanley Cemetry Burials - WETTON
« on: Tuesday 07 July 15 11:54 BST (UK) »
Hi

I have found references to a number of WETTON graves in Hanley Cemetry but no other details (around 1870).

How can I find out more details without having to visit the cemetry myself?

Lee.

I found the index here: http://www.bmsgh.org/burialsearch/

Example:

Surname    Cemetery    Quarter    Year    Entry    Page    Grave Ref    Block    Query
WETTON    Hanley    June    1864    934    104    2611

WETTON    Hanley    June    1870    4960    555    2611

WETTON    Hanley    June    1874    8916    994    2611

just need the forenames.....

Hi Lee, you could look up the forenames in the General Register Office death index for the relevant quarters.  Hopefully there wouldn't be too many Wettons in Stoke Registration District in any quarter.
