Help: Ashton Emile John Webster

I am looking for information on Ashton Emile John Webster. He had a son named Aubrey Ashton Webster (my grandfather).

I am trying to find out who Aubrey Ashton Webster's mother is (possible name: Myra Webster (born Aitkin). Stories passed down tell me that she either died or disappeared. Aubrey was put into an orphanage when he was born. He later came into contact with his father but I am unsure of the rest.

If you have any information on Aubrey's father, please could you let me know.

Not sure whether this will help or not, but a snippet about Aubrey Ashton Webster "of Takapuna":

His name appears in the School Certificate pass list in 'The New Zealand Herald', dated 6.2.1935.

This gives an indication of his year of birth.
