DERRICK Family - Blagdon

Has anyone researched this family?  I am trying to sort out a Levi Derrick who I believe was probably the son of Thomas & Mary DERRICK.  Levi was born in about 1813 and received into the church at Blagdon, aged 6 in 1819 with his parents as Thomas & Mary DERRICK.
There are 3 marriages for a Thomas DERRICK and Mary in Blagdon between 1788 and 1798 - on the last one Thomas is a widower but which pair had Levi?
Can anyone help me identify which Thomas & Mary is which?

I believe these may be the burials of Thomas & Mary in Blagdon
Mary DERRICK 23 Dec 1819 aged 52
Thomas DERRICK 22 Oct 1835 aged 75
Thomas DERRICK 18 Sept 1837 aged 76
Mary DERRICK 26 Feb 1838 aged 71

As I wrote that I realised that the last two should have death certificates with names of people giving information so that might be a lead.

I'm hoping that someone has already unravelled this family!!

Just my thoughts;

From the 1798 Marriage;
Children;
WILLIAM, 16 June 1799
HARRIOT, 24 May 1801
NANCY, 2 Aug 1807, birth 18 Feb 1805
ELIZA, 15 May 1809, birth 3 March 1808
LEVI, 8 June 1819 age 6

At a guess these would be the Parents;
Mary DERRICK 23 Dec 1819 aged 52 (birth c 1767)
Thomas DERRICK 22 Oct 1835 aged 75 (birth c 1760)

There is a Mary OFFER Baptised 4 Sept 1768 Blagdon to THOMAS/SARAH
This fits with the possible 1788 Marriage

And a MARY Derrick Burial 5 Aug 1792 age 24 (consumption) birth c 1768
No other details though, married etc.

Possible Children of 1788 Marriage;
SIMEON, 8 June 1789
LEVI, 14 Feb 1792, buried 3 Jan 1793 age 11mths

A Tree disagrees though and has Thomas/Mary Offer having Children;

Nancy 1792
Phoebe 1794
Elizabeth 1797
William 1799
Harriet 1801
Nancy 1805
Eliza 1808
They have them dying;
Thomas 1837/Mary 1838

Cant see how Nancy/Levi could be born same year 1792 though!

I agree with you that Simeon is most probably the son of Thomas & Mary nee OFFER and possibly the Levi who died in 1793.

If Levi was the son of Thomas & Mary nee OFFER then Nancy must have been the daughter of Thomas & Mary nee LANE. - both born in about 1792

Presumably Phoebe and Elizabeth were the daughters of Thomas & Mary nee LANE.

It is difficult to decide which of the children christened after 1798 was born the Thomas & Mary nee LANE and which to Thomas & Mary nee BAKER.

I favour the Levi born in 1813 to be the son of Thomas & Mary nee BAKER as that Thomas probably had the earlier son called Levi who died in 1793

It's really helpful to have someone else look at this family - thank you.

Thanks for that - it is the same family.  It looks like a detailed breakdown of all the DERRICKs in Blagdon is needed.
