John Malley of Westport, Co. Mayo
« on: Friday 10 July 15 14:23 BST (UK) »
Looking for the birth of this man who moved to Liverpool and married a girl called Amy ???? around 1902.  They appear on the 1911 Census for Liverpool, and that's all the information I have.  I can't even find their marriage.

Many thanks
Mobo    :)

Malley is a very common name around Westport.  You do not say what age he is but I took a stab and searched on www.irishgenealogy.ie for a John Malley born between 1878 and 1884. That period shows 27 John Malley births registered in Westport. If you have his age then that list can be whittled down but it will still be difficult.

Very sorry folks - I could have sworn I gave his age.  Anyway, on the 1911 Census, he is listed as 35 (so would have been born around 1876), Hopefully.  :)
