Maurice John Griffin

I am trying to find out more information on Maurice John Griffin.
He immigrated to Melbourne Australia in about 1852.
In 1860 he married Mary Roughen and had 14 children.
He lived in Brighton Melbourne as a market gardener.

I can't find any information about his arrival to Australia.
He was apparently from County Kerry and was born about 1832.

There is a tree on A* that has his parents as John Griffin & mary Sheehan but no exact date for his birth.

marriage has this note:1860 ,11 Jun — Age: 27 Brighton, Victoria, Australia
2793 marriage reg no.
Two marriage dates entered in the registrar for Maurice and Mary. they took their vows together on the 27th May 1860 and then when the Parish priest visited on his circuit they had service with the priest. 11 June 1860. Note incorrect.  source given as Australia marriage index.

Death: 13/10/1913 Brighton Victoria  source given as Victoria death index so prob correct.

tree belongs to Australian citizen so details there prob correct plus 14 children & details.

There is not a marriage on the Victorian index for Maurice GRIFFIN to Mary ROUGHEN.

At a quick glance I can see a large number of births -perhaps  13- between 1862 and 1884 to Maurice GRIFFIN  and Mary (nee ROUHGHEN), but no marriage in Vic.

His Brighton home was named Kilrush.....wonder if there was a connection to the place of that name in Ireland.
