William Lamont born 1876 Portgelone Co. Antrim

Am looking to see if anyone can turn up anything on my great uncle . William Lamont was born 15 May 1876 in Mayboy a town land of Portgleone in Co. Antrim. His parents were William Lamont and Matty Ann Luke. He moved to Scotland to work in the mines I believe . He is living at Kings Land Bellshill at time of the 1901 census . He had a brother John and his wife Ellen also living in  Belllshill at Townhead. I have their children's records ok but nothing of what became of William

Have you searched for him in 1911 Scottish census yet?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hi, on Scotlands People,which is a pay per view site,there is a marriage for a William Lamont to Barbara Murray in 1923 in Bellshill. Could this be your William? Kim
