Given the way the Index is, they certainly look as if they have been copied from another register to get compiled so well in Index!

Maybe I should have said.... on the 3rd tab I have open on screen!!   lol

I'm always the same ~ too many tabs open 

I think that 'copied' reference is with regard to the few names listed just above it.

I wouldn't mind ~ there is even a column for residence / HABITUS.

So, why wasn't this church in the practice of entering this information ?

HA Did they now KNOW that I, and others, would want this information ?

The later indexes certainly look to have been compiled later given the way they fit together so snugly.

I suspect the later records, with their index are copied too.... just my hunch.
