If services for burials were taken place at this church - where is the cemetery in Newark?

There is a churchyard attached to the church, not very big though, but being in the town centre I wouldn't be surprised if buildings haven't encroached on it.

There is some information and pictures here.

The churchyard for St Mary Mag Parish church was around the Church. Part of it has been turned into a park and grassed over, the gravestones are around the walls. If I remember correctly there are also gravestones laid flat around the front door. The back of the church contains a grassed area and the war memorial now stands there. As far as I can see the last burial was September 1853.

the Municipal Cemetery opened in 1856 and is on London Road

"Newark : Christ Church
Newark : St Leonard'"
Neither of these Churches has a graveyard.
The old Christ Church Lombard St is now a furniture store!
The new  Christchurch was built in 1958 on Boundary Rd.
St Leonards was built in 1873 on Northgate and has been demolished.
There is a new St leonard on Lincoln Rd.
