I have found a record on Ancestry details listed as follows.

Daniel Archibald BOUSFIELD
Birth date: Jul-Aug-Sep 1873
Registration Place e: Dunedin,NZ
Folio No:1280

I have searched on the Vitals Records BDM's - New Zealand - board, and have not found it.
Would some kind person check this board and see if they can find it for me, or explain why it is not listed on there.

I notice that record mentioned above has the surname spelt Bousfield.

Just wondering if it has been mistranscribed on BDM.

Oops I should have typed BOUSFIELD, I have corrected in my post.

Thanks for posting this information -   yes these are the Bousfields I'm tracing.
Actually there is a son that I can't find on the Vital records website -I'll make another request on the board.
