Can anyone make out what the note reads,
It's from a marriage in 1866 Baldoyle

 Wish my   nephew  was  here ,  as   it's  in Latin (I think)   and  he's  a whizz at Latin !!!    sorry that  doesn't help much  with  your  query  ,

  The  note  may  well   have  been something to  do with the   fact that  they were already  married  ?   the month  on  part  of the   cert    is July I  think  .  which  would  be Sept  Qtr

Oh my god,
This is so interesting.
According to my records Catherine was a year older than James and born in 1845 so I am assuming that they were underage when they married in Liverpool.

Just a note on James.
He was killed by a stray bullet on the last day of the 1916 Easter rising aged 70

I should have also said I can't make out the name of Catherine's mother.

 on the  image  of the cert  in Liverpool  ,address  of Catherines  father  is  William St  Baldoyle   Dublin   and James father is  of William St De Swords  Dublin       the witnesses  I are  a Petro Warren  of Baldoyle Dublin ,  and a Margarita Sweeborough ??  of Rush Dublin   No ages  given
