Cleveland Mews
« on: Wednesday 29 July 15 13:07 BST (UK) »
The family business was run from Maple Street/Cleveland Mews (22-35) from mid 19C until 1920s in the name of Mitchell.  We are trying to find more information about this and any other businesses which operated in the immediate vicinity but do not know where to start. Is there for example any way that we can access a street by census?

You can search censuses by street name on Findmypast.

You can search every England and Wales census by address on thegenealogist.co.uk

Directories may also help. For example the 1912 London PO street directory shows Francis Mitchell, cart and van builder at 22 to 26 and 29, 31 and 32 Cleveland Mews.
