cemeteries in Atlantic City NJ
« on: Thursday 30 July 15 13:05 BST (UK) »
I am searching for the death record and burial place of Edward W Ellis who died 1935/38. At the time of death he was residing at 202 Franklin Ave Atlantic City New Jersey. I am not familiar with that area. On consideration of that I would be grateful if someone in the roots chat family could provide me with the name of some of the cemeteries which are located around the area of Franklin Ave in Atlantic City. The name of his wife was Fannie Ellis.

I suggest you Google "cemeteries Atlantic City, NJ" - from what I see, the list only includes one in Atlantic City (Jewish), others in nearby towns/cities.

Think you must be googling wrong  :-\

I used 'cemeteries in atlantic city nj' and came up with several, including Atlandtic City Cemetery, Laurel Memorial Park, etc.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

There are no cemeteries "in Atlantic City" as it is one of 4 towns on the island. All burials are "off-shore".
The Catholic one is in Mays Landing, "Holy Cross". There are others in Absecon, Northfield, Linwood, Pleasantville and Mays Landing. (There are perhaps more that I am unaware of).  These would all be in Atlantic County and most likely can be Googled.
