Grave of Edith Florence King Tisbury

                        I am trying to find out the resting place of Edith Florence King,
                                she died Dec 1923 at Tisbury, Wiltshire.

What date did she die - her death was registered in the December qtr which spans 1.10 - 31/12.

If she died end of December - burial may have been in the January of 1924

Whereabouts was she living when she died as the Tisbury RD covered many areas

Where was she in 1901 and 1911?  I know it was a long time before she died but she may have stayed in the same area

Her husband was in the Church Army and they moved around a lot.
1901 census they were in Reigate Surrey
1911censusshows them in Rodbourne Cheney Wilts

The death certificate will give her address at time of death and also name who registered it,with their address.
Perhaps contact with the Church Army may reveal something in their records. Brionne.

Also had a look at the list involved and couldn't find Rodbourne Cheney

Rodbourne Cheney appears to be in Highworth district. So it's likely that Edith had moved on from Rodbourne Cheney by the time of her death, although it's possible she was still living there but died elsewhere.

If you're certain you've found the right record in the death index, then it's worth spending out on a death certificate to find out more. This will at least tell you where she died, which might lead you to where she was buried.
However, if the family travelled around a lot, there's a chance her resting place isn't the same as where she died!
