Hackney Family
« on: Monday 24 August 15 17:22 BST (UK) »
Hello, I think this is a shot in the dark but I hope I get lucky and some one can help me. I am looking for a family living in the Hackney area of London around the time of the 1911 cencus by the name of Paget. The origins of the family are from the Litchfield/Walsall areas of the Midlands.  I realise this is a long shot but many thanks in anticipation.

Here is the birth of the Edwin Paget that you refer to in our recent exchange of PMs.

Birth
Jan/Feb/Mar 1917
Hackney
ref 1b 658
Edwin Paget
mums maiden name also Paget

Looks like he may be illegitimate. if you get his birth cert to confirm who his parents were, then maybe you can find them in 1911.

Hi homeguard

Unless the information requested is about living people or you wish to exchange email addresses off-forum, there is no need for Rootschatters to send information on the personal message system.

If there is info to share, please post it openly so that we can all see what is known or has been found, others will then be happier to contribute and may have further things to add. Chatters here have access to all sorts of resources and may be put off posting if they think it has all been done already, behind the scenes.

Dawn

Thanks for your interest, no the people are not alive but the information I have is more a family story and to get further I may need to get the certificate but what I was told was that the family were from the Litchfield/Walsall area of the Midlands but for some reason Edwin Paget was supposedly born in London, of course this may not be true ! But as I have been told it may need the cert. to point me in the right direction, many thanks.

what are the  names  of the   family ?  and any birth  dates?   sometimes   just  using the  Christian  names  and  year of birth   produces results
