Charles Ephraim MACHIN - born Q June 1860 but when and where did he die?

I would not put much credence the, date of birth, on death certificate, this information is only as good as the informant knowledge, my grandfather was out by 7 years.

I did purchase the death certificate for Charles E Machin in Quarter ending June 1930 at reg. district of Lambeth 1d page 235.

Charles Ephraim Machin died on 31st March 1930 at 259 Clapham Road aged 65. He was formerly a textile warehouseman. The informant was G. M. Machin, widow who was present at the death.

So G. M. Machin was Gertrude Mary née Whitmore who married Charles in 1909.

I have the answer to my original post, but now I wonder:
When did Gertrude Mary Machin die? She was born in the March Q 1886 in Hartismere, Suffolk I believe.

Looks like she was living with her daughter Olga in Lambeth in 1939

  The 1967 Samford record looks the most likely to me too.

  I have a death record for Olga in January 2002 in Stoke on Trent, Staffs. and it appears that she never married.

  I shall leave this up for two or three days for other input, then mark it as completed.

An earlier post lists a possible marriage of Olga in 1933 in Lambeth - to an Eric N Palmer -  and Olga is listed with the surname Palmer in 1939.

There is a death in  1980 of a Olga Mary A Palmer birth date  12 Mar 1910

I found a birth record for Eric Norman Palmer in Q June 1909 in Lambeth. He died on 2nd October 1946 age 37 (from the probate record).

The only child that looks likely to me is (*) born June 1946 in Lambeth.
There is a (*) born Q June 1944 in Chesterfield. Is she the daughter of Olga and Eric?

The Lambeth birth looks more likely, but it is a long time after their marriage??

I think you have access to Ancestry?   If you search on Olga Mary Aileen Machin b 1910 Sussex there is a personal tree called Palmer Family Tree which may relate to her husband's surname Palmer.   If you contact the owner she may have more info on the couple
