Bradshaws Directory 1820 Loughgilly
« on: Tuesday 25 August 15 22:57 BST (UK) »
Does anyone know of this directory, please? The one online in Proni doesn't seem to cover the area I am interested in. Somebody on a genealogy website mentioned that it contained names of farmers in rural areas, as well as towns. I am looking for McComb in Loughgilly.

The one in PRONI seems to be 1819 rather than 1820 and looks to be a transcript of the Belfast streets & surnames-

Armagh directories- reply #6-

1819 Bradshaw's for Belfast & Lisburn transcribed here- no other places mentioned:

Closest I can find so far is this one- it was usual at this time for directories to only include major cities and towns.

Google did find a reference to an extract from this but not the actual source-

... In Bradshaw's Directory of 1820, in the Parish of Loughgilly records of "Farmers and Residents"...

Yes, that's the one I saw.  :)
The post was from a few years ago, but she is still active on that forum. I have just sent her a message. Let me know if you'd like to know if the directory exists/where to find it.
