Kitty Bullon+ William Harry
« on: Wednesday 26 August 15 07:37 BST (UK) »
Kitty Bullon = 1834 St Stephen in Brannel , William Harry.
I am researching my Harry family and can confirm he is from my direct line.
In 1851 the census was miss transcribed as Harvey ( should be Harry ).
William Harry died 1853 and is buried Holy Trinity St Austell.

I am trying to find when and where Kitty died.
I cannot find her beyond 1851 when she was transcribed as Kitty Harvey.
Her last child Ellen/Helen Rebecca died St Austell 1873 ( bC1849 ).

I will be most greatful for help.

I suspect Kitty remarried in 1856 to a Richard Se(c)combe Lark.  They can be found on the 1861 census in St. Austell.  He`s 35 and she is 40 - she seems to be a bit economical with her age.

Thank you KGarrad and mosiefish.
Just to confuse matters I also have a Christian /Kitty Harry baptised St Mewan 1797.
I think it might be her buried 5 Oct 1875 St Austell.

The marriage 1856 to Richard Secombe Lark looks promising , but expected her to be about 39.
I agree that she might have manipulated her age a bit.
Did they have family with them in 1861? What was the location?

Well done.

Hi,

I think Kitty was born around 1815 which would make her about 19 when she married in 1834.  In 1861  Kitty (born St. Stephens) and Richard (born St. Ewe) only have a daughter Mary Ann aged 1 living with them on East Street, St.Austell

Thank you Mo.
I have a bpt 25 Dec 1815 St Stephen in Brannel for Kitty Bullon/Bullen d/o Thomas and Mary.
I think it was her who married my William Harry (1810-1853) 1834 St Stephen in Brannel.
I am looking for the 1861 image.

Thanks

Hello Will
James T Harry doesn't jump out at me but I will check.
Do you have any other detail?

Mo I think I can see Kitty Lark 67 and daughter Mary Ann Lark 22 in 1881.She was a widow.
Assume she died as Lark after 1881.
