Northfield Military Hospital
« on: Sunday 30 August 15 08:25 BST (UK) »
hello
I wonder if any one can tell me more about this hospital and how I can  find details of a person who was there in 1943. He was Ernest Frederick Barker no 10696996. Joined up in Woking 1942 and sent to Northern Ireland for Officer training He would have being  about 37  . Latter with RASC but at the start not sure . Writing on document hard to read but looks like W.S.AET OR NS. AC.T

Grateful for any information.
Many Thanks .

Check that number again, it sounds way too high.

Or rather I should have said way too high for pre 1942 and way too low for 1942 and post 1942 up to the 1950's because in February 1942 the Army changed the numbering system for soldiers and issued new recruits with Army numbers starting with much higher numbers than your number.

If you have sufficient information about him you can get his service record from here...
