Hi can anyone help with a newspaper look up
The fall river daily globe and Daily herald have issues of this time period
On the 6th September 1898 Ada Waldron died of TB and on the same day her husband Daniel david Waldron was being sentenced to 5 yrs imprisonment for grand larceny - leaving 2 children without parents.
I have the prison sentence and discharge.  but not any details of what transpired etc
Can anyone help to uncover this story please
as i Cant seem to check this out from NZ

As best I can tell, this newspaper isn't available online and can be found in the Fall River or Boston public libraries. 

Someone has a family tree with a record of him being imprisoned in Sing Sing in New York.  Was that the right person?  If the crime occurred in New York, there might be a local paper there with information.

You may now have information, but in case you've not seen this:

It does appear that Mr. Waldron was sentenced to Sing Sing.  Anc**try has admission papers for Sing Sing.

Daniel D Waldron, born New York City, age 32, occupation Waiter was sentenced on September 6, 1898.  He was residing in Fall River, Mass. at the time that he was arrested.  "Received from: Bor. Manhattan Gen L? Court."
