I hate it when people have the same name -- or might be the same person with different information! It makes investigation so difficult when one is painstakingly panting after their history! :)

There's another probable sibling Edwin Henry ( Baptised at  Trichinopoly 26 July 1863, born 28 May 1863).

Also Alice Bertha (Born 27 Jan 1869, baptised at Bombay Holy Trinity 12 May)

Thomas Edwin Cochrane, retired storekeeper of 14 Heathville Road Gloucester died 22 January 1901.
Admin to Charles Edward Cochrane, surgeon

Retired storekeeper! I suppose it depends on the store but it's quite a change from his Indian railway responsibilities. Thank you for spotting this -- I had just been looking myself for a death record but without success.
