That's right, Heywood. Husband was James. In the 1871 they should have a five year old son called Joseph if that helps?

Yes that's how I found them. Joseph is 4 yrs and they are transcribed as McCarney.

If she was born Liverpool then there is a possible baptism on Ancestry"Liverpool England Baptisms"

Born 10 Mar 1847 Baptised 14 Jan 1849
Parents George and Elizabeth Williams.
I can't make out George's occ but it doesn't look anything like "boilermaker"
The Church was St Peter Liverpool which is the same church in which Elizabeth married.

Well, the date and the father's name match, at least! I suppose the birthplace could jump from one census to the next - I've seen many do that before!
