I don't know how this site works but one of the pins is apparently York Road...

Hi,

All the houses in York Road seem to have gone in a development that looks to have taken place in the 60's or 70's (judging by the style of the buildings).
York Road (a straight road which led down to York Park) roughly equates to the northern arm of Perryfield Way - almost opposite Herbert Road, between the MOT centre and the fried chicken shop on West Hendon Broadway (the chicken shop looks as though it would have been there at that time, though doubtless NOT a chicken shop  :) ). York Park still exists, although significantly redifined in size and area, thanks to the redevelopment.

I've attached an image from a 1937 map, York Road, The Hyde, London NW9 is how it is indexed.

York Road is in the top right corner of square G16
