If I was to order a Sydney marriage certificate from 1879 am I likely to see the names of the parents of the bride and groom?

If by some chance there are blanks  (parents names, and other family history info) on that document,  please consider having a read through the following thread http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,546609.0.html

Cheers,  JM
