Hi,
My great x 2 grandfather Patrick John Carroll (born approximately 1810, arrived here on the Hashemy as an enrolled pensioner in 1850.   I have a copy of his Bombay Soldiers Records where he entered 'the service' in 1831 and was first a gunner with the 3rd company 1st battalion artillery, then transferred to the Horse Artillery 21st May 1834, then pensioned off on 2nd Jan 1841.  Then I have a copy of his arrival at Fremantle and it states his previous regiment was the 88th Regiment.
I have 3 different regiments etc and cannot find a copy of a uniform for any of them.    I thought I had one a few months ago, but it turned out to be false.   I would love to see what the uniform (if any) he wore.
