Researching Thomson families in Musselburgh and Inveresk,I am interested in information about Thomsons who were shoemakers.

Mary Thomson, daughter of John Thomson, shoemaker of Musselburgh, married John Craigie in 1792.

Can anyone suggest where additional information about this  Thomson family from Musselburgh may be found?
Mary Thomson who married John Craigie is NOT the Mary Thomson b 16 April 1769 to John Thomson and Mary Logie in Inveresk - this is a different Thomson family.

Recorded in the Particular Register of Sasines at Edinburgh 15 Jun 1726.

MARGARET GIBSON, his spouse, died 7th March 1782, aged 72.

Two of their children, who died young-JAS. THOMSON, clothier in Musselburgh, died 6th Dec. 1792, aged 40. ISABELLA THOMSON, died April 1st, 1804, aged 50. Also CATHREN THOMSON, died 11th Nov. 1809, aged 79 years. Also MARGARET THOMSON, died 3d Jan. 1810, aged 82 years.
