Bennett Family - Stapleton/Barwell

Hi

Can anyone spot what happened to the John and Mary Bennett who are living in Stapleton with their daughter Sarah in the 1841 census.

John appears to be born abt 1799 in Leicestershire and may have died and was buried in Barwell on 29 September 1851.  Mary was born abt 1795 in Leicestershire and may have died and was buried in Barwell on 13 January 1871.

Other than the 1841 census I cannot see what happened to them.  Assuming the above burial dates are correct they should be on further census' although I cannot locate them.

Can anyone help?

Have you got anything else on Sarah ie 1851 or is she missing as well?

Sarah married John Sharp in 1851 and can be found with him in Stapleton in 1851 before moving to Measham Derbyshire, where she dies after 1901.

I've just looked at her again and whilst not transcribed I can see John and Mary next to her in Stapleton in 1851!  Now for the other census'

Any ideas would be much appreciated - the burials are only likely as I may be wrong.

Found the 1861 census - under Mary Bennett although not appearing in an obvious manner on Ances*ry!

Very bizarre.  Born Desford abt 1795.

So I guess that completes this enquiry.

Thanks for the inspiration and it just goes to show that sometimes auto searching doesn't always work on those sites!!
